‘Don’t Lead Me Down’ is the fourth single to be released from Revelino’s remastered debut album and bonus EP and is released this Friday 27th Nov. The album was released on vinyl for the first time on Oct 9th & went straight to No 1 in the Irish Indie charts and sold out in 2 weeks. The song has featured in two film soundtracks – British gangster movie ‘Hard Men’ (featuring Mad Frankie Fraser) and one of the best Irish movies of all time, ‘I Went Down’, written by Conor McPherson and featuring a wonderful Irish cast including Brendan Gleeson & Peter McDonald. The band have a brilliant new video which features footage from ‘I Went Down’ plus some band footage from the original video. Bren Berry, who edited the video along with Rory McDonald, said “We are beyond delighted & flattered that Treasure Films have given us permission to use footage from the movie in our new video and would like to express our admiration & gratitude to everyone involved with the movie especially the Producer Rob Walpole at Treasure Films and the director Paddy Breathnach. It really is one of the best Irish movies of all time. We’re also very excited that Emer Reynolds, who edited ‘I Went Down’ has a new documentary out soon called Phil Lynott: Songs for While I’m Away” which looks amazing.”
‘Don’t Lead Me Down’ is out this Friday along with the repressing of the sold-out vinyl debut album.
